Greetings good people:
The next time someone feels that they are being "discriminated against by fact of not receiving a benefit/service that is available to "sighted" persons, the ARRL book benefit for example, ask the person for their name, and if they understand the provisions of the ADA which is the Federal law that requires equal treatment. Use it as a shield, not sword.i.e. don't threaten, but try to sound rational in the face of this discrimination. Of course, they should already be aware of the Act's provisions, but just mentioning it will probably get their attention, or a quick transfer up the chain of command of the entity you're dealing with.
Regards,
