Hi Linda
Welcome to our fascinating hobby.
It has so many facets, I am sure that you will find a particular niche that will keep you interested for years to come!
I got my A licence (equivalent of the U.S. extra class) in November 1969 and have been on HF ever since with antennas as simple as a non-resonant vertical tuned with a simple tuner, and big HF beams.

Hi howard and all,
I keep seeing 73 on here. I use to see this, but I forgot what it means?
Could you enlighten my brain as to what it is? <smile.
Thanks,
Linda
