I do not see it as an over-reaction. You are looking to be prepared
for next time. Most normal people call that good sense. But you are
not most normal people. You are a ham. The laws of nature and
nerddom therefore requires that instead of buying some silly half
solution, you have to cobble together something monstrous, large,
completely overkill, and just plain fun. *grin*
I want something like that too, but if I tried to build something
like that with big honking batteries and wires everywhere, the YL
would... Erm, wait, the YL would never notice I had done anything at
all different. *laugh*
