Ham Radio deluxe works ok.
It's a bit tedious with JFW as you have to use jaws cursor and mouse click 
on allot of stuff.
I always find it is too tedious to bother with if the rig is right there in 
front of you.
Unless more functionality can be accessed from the software, and in the case 
of kenwood radios, there is no additional functionality through HRD than 
there is on the front of the rig.
For rigs without a speech synth, you can use HRD to get spoken frequency, 
mode and S-meter readings...as long as that rig is supported by HRD.

I don't know if kenwood released a control program for the 570.  I know 
MCP2000 was released for the ts2000 though and that apparently works ok with 
JFW/win eyes etc.
