Hi All:

Just researching a possible beam antenna. I like the Mosley Classic 33-M.
As far as add on kits go, would it be better to have the driven element extended to act as a rotatable dipole on 40M, in the case of the Mosley, or purchase a beam such as the A-3S which has a separate piece to act as a small rotatable dipole on 40M or purchase a separate 4 band rotatable dipole?
I'm not active on 17 and 12 but am on 80, 40, 20 and 15.
Just wondering how these add ons compare to the much larger rotatables. I don't think you get any forward gain from any of them.
