Tonight I went to McDonalds with the kids. It was for them, they don't eat
GF, that's what for my benefit. I usually eat fries (yeah, yeah, don't yell
at me too much, I know that's a questionable thing to do) and the fruit and
walnut salad. I never gave that thing a second thought before tonight.
Except as I stirred my walnuts into the yogurt and fruit, I thought it was
funny that I could eat those and not the ones at Wendy's because they looked
exactly liked the "roasted pecans" that I gave away to the kids the last
time I at at Wendy's. So, I looked at the label for the first time in
awhile. Wheat starch on the nuts. How long has that been there? Did I
miss something? Has that always been there? I'm guessing that was one of
my last trips there. I just don't like their burgers enough to eat them off
the buns.
