Has anyone tried extending a package mix to increase the batch of cookies, etc and had success?
We eat very little grains any more so when I bake I'm inclined to do package mixes and they can be expensive.  Just thought perhaps if I extended some of these, say 25%, with added grains and liquid, perhaps, I could make them more cost effective.
