I find these posts from Wally and Nicole very interesting as I
experience the opposite. If I have some very fatty side bacon for
breakfast I don't want lunch and I don't start to feel hungry until it
is time for my evening meal - about 6 PM. On the other hand, when I eat
a breakfast with more protein and less fat, such as a fatty beef steak,
I find myself hungry by lunch time. I suspect that the excess protein is
being converted to glucose because my level of ketosis diminishes after
the beef-steak meal. I haven't tested my blood glucose at regular
intervals after eating each type of meal. I will try that in the near
future.
best wishes,
Ron
