Lay's Brand Classic Potato Chips Recalled
Plano, TX (SafetyAlerts) - The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said
today that Frito-Lay, Inc. is recalling certain Lay's brand Classic
Potato
Chips because certain bags labeled as "Classic Potato Chips" may
actually contain "Sour Cream and Onion Potato Chips."
The "Sour Cream and Onion Potato Chips" contain dairy ingredients
which are not listed on the "Classic Potato Chips" product s label.
This is the first public notice of this Class II issued by FDA.
PRODUCT Lay's brand Classic Potato Chips, in 5 1/2 ounce bags.
