I have believed for the last 8 months that I was Lactose Intolerant, but
after reading the Q & A section in Steve Carper's Lactose Intolerance
Clearinghouse I no longer think that it is the lactose affecting me.
I suffer more from eating butter than with milk, with symptoms apperaring
within a couple of hours rather than a couple of days. Does anyone know what
components of the milk most commonly causes the allergy and why it is more
portent in butter? Is there a chance that I have been eating this
unknowingly as I have been mostly avoiding milk and lactose in products?
