My 7000 is 2 years old. It hasn't had any other problems, and Icom did fix
it. When they did they asked me about my setup. I told them what it was,
and when they didn't like the TW1 I said "Well if your company would make
that function talk I could use that but LDG makes the only meter for blind
people." He did say I'm sorry after that and the radio was fixed properly I
think, but I never opened it for anyone to look.
