What I'd do is use the same conductivwe mazst and ground it to the roof at
the base of the antenna. If the only ground the antenna sees at the feed
point is the mast, then it becomes the bround, and not a good one at that.
I think that would work, but you need to strap it over to the rv there. A
non conductive mast will only make things worse, unless, again, you strap
the feed point to the rv roof.
