It needs the software to be programmed, at least the one I have does I'm not
sure about the higher models and likewise mine has no display so no alpha
tags. Once I pay off a couple things I"ll get the mobile that goes with this
hand held which does have a display and that may very well, I'll have to get
back to you on that. For now I only have the one hand held.
