I made nearly 100 contacts, all on 15 and 10 meter CW, using a
Carolina Windom for the antenna.

One of those contacts on 15 meters was with the K3DN, where Dave
Simpson from this list was the CW operator.

My 40 or so 10 meter contacts ranged from Tennessee to W1AW, and out
to Colorado.

This was the best Field Day on the higher bands I have seen in several
years.

To make it even better, the CW tent even had an almost constant breeze
off the lake where the site is located. That breeze rarely made it up
the hill to the SSB tent.

Now that I am home, I am hearing double hop E to 6 land on 10 meters,
and 6 meters is full of both SSB and CW signals from the mid west.

So, grab a microphone or a key, and enjoy some good conditions.
