Tom, thanks and I appreciate everyone's support and confidence in me on the

    Junior:

Well, on the net control issue, it is up for negotiation, but I really think

you would do a good job, even with only 100 watts!!! That loop of yours is
a phenomenal antenna on both 20 and 40!

Regarding the cross-country net itself, I think it is one of the neatest
things we have attempted over the past two years, and the success of our
40-meter round table has shown that a more regional net can be lots of fun
too.

It's just a matter of finding something that works relatively well, and
sticking with it, with the understanding that some weeks are just going to
be better than others.

Tom, with a little more practice I just might get the hang of being a relay
station big smile.
This loop is getting better and better.

Thanks for the encouraging report, Junior.

It was hard to know how my 100 watts and Windom were doing, given the
challenging conditions on 20 this afternoon.

I had a very good copy on quite a few of the check in's on the net today.
That is when the qrm would leave me alone.
I especially had a very strong signal on Tom, Kris, and Steve kw3a.
And if Lloyd had gotten stronger I would have poured him a nice glass of ice
tea lol.
