I have a Kenwood thf6a and a WouXun 3D ht and they both have sma connectors. 
I use sma to bnc adaptors.  They come in both male and female versions.

Is there even any multiband HT that's made today that has BNC rather than
SMA?  Singlebanders, yes, but multibanders? I don't know of any. Danny.
