You have specified a VX Motherboard. If it is a VX-Pro, or a VX-Two they do
not handle SCSI very well at all. I tried to install a Diamond Fireport 40
on a VX-Two and it kept cutting out my IDE connect. Removing all SCSI and
replacing with all IDE worked like a charm.
