Hi - Does anyone happen to know if the soy sauce distributed by W.Y. Industries (www.wyindustries.com located in North Bergen NJ) is gluten free?  The packet lists the following ingredients:  Water,salt,vegetable protein,corn syrup,and caramel color.  I called the phone number listed on the website and it was clear the lady answering the phone is not able to answer my questions - she says no wheat but she didn't know the source of the vegetable protein.  

I am curious if anyone has used it w/o adverse effects?
