There's a great song about nostalgia for the old dimestore, actually a
Woolworth's, written by Nancy Griffith.  It's one of my favorites,
including her lead-in story.  Maybe we could come up with a list of
pop/folk/blues songs that seem to reflect an (un)conscious respect for
preservation...
