I have in my possession an AOR AR8200, one of the best handheld
general coverage receivers to come out of the 80's/90's. The one I
have is the Mark 2. The line went to Mark 3, then changed model
numbers. The Mk 3 seems to have added some frequencies, probably some
scan banks and/or memory, tape recording and discriminator outputs,
and a change from NiCad to lithium ion battery power. I'm trying to
find out two things. (1) What's the new
version's model number, and (2) does anybody have a text manual for
the Mark 2 wherein the key names are not omitted due to conversions
from PDF documents where they appear as graphics? I had a text manual
once where all the key names were plain-text in brackest, so the
manual read beautifully in plain-text mode, but now, all I get by
reading the PDF is blankness where the graphic is. Or, even worse, I
get things like "To accomplish this, press the graphic 123 button ..."
etc. If anyone has any info on this radio, please post or reply via
email.

Thanks in advance.
