If you have any sort of shortwave radio that picks up AM, walk around the
house and the neighborhood and see if any patterns emerge.  You can be
fooled, but this technique should work, especially as you go to higher and
higher frequencies.  Plasma TV's are hideous.  Some street lights buzz like
crazy when they can't decide whether to be on or off.  And although I think
it was an exception, my brother's iPhone charger was extremely loud across
the HF spectrum during a recent family visit to Iowa.  

I hope you succeed in finding this before it takes you off the air.
