and, do you remember when CW use to be clean?  Now these  guys key up 
and ever other character has a huge key click because of their 
amplifier which they're over driving, or keying it's relay a little 
behind their transceiver relay and it clicks hugely, or, many other 
causes, but who cares! CW is transient, and then, how about all the 
majorly over processed SSB signals, at least 25Khz wide I've heard 
while chasing DX, when, in fact, so much power waste put in those 
spurious emissions, when, if they wanted to be effective, other means 
are available rather than splatter.
