My friend and I uninstalled and re-installed both the ARCP590 software, and
the virtula USB com port driver, and they are now both on port 4.
I think the problem is a conflict with Jaws, which some have given me a
solution for, in terms of changing sound card settings for Jaws.
Will try that when I get the chance here, and let you know how I do.
