Howard,

I don't know the answer for that question.  My foggy recollection is 
that it actually did run on XP in the very early life of the OS.   I 
think somewhere along the line, early on, after some Windows update or 
service pack update, it would no longer function on XP.  I can't swear 
this is a fact, justgoing by my sometimes faulty memory.
