I will give this vinux 3.x a try and see how it works...if I can.
I'm not terribly interested in switching over to linux as my main OS, but if 
I can get DSD1.4 and Mbelid 1.3 operational, and have some speech feedback 
to assist in the installations and some basic info that DSD offers, then 
I'll be happy.
I suspect it won't be very long until our whole PD and other agencies switch 
to full provoice comms...so I'll figure it out now while I still have some 
time to learn.
And all that will remain is to find a radio, or modify my scanner to get a 
discriminator tap.
