IC-718's a good radio, I had one for a short time but the deal went bad, 
nothing with that radio and we called it off but I think it's a very 
underestimated radio personally. If I didn't have all the radios I do and no 
money, and needed a backup or something, I'd buy one and I say backup only 
because I'm very happy with my Kenwood TS-2000 which will have to last as my 
primary radio for a very long time to come.
