insult to their manhood.  I thought the goal of amateur radio was
communication, not "my radio is more real than your radio."   

Amen Steve! Couldn't have said it better myself.  I think we have stirred
the pot so to speak with some older hams on this list that don't like
computers or just don't like change.  Anyway, until I can aford a good
mobile to use as a base here, I will stick to my Wouxun HT, and good old
Echolink!
