Hello, using the I phone to do echo link would be interesting.  it never 
seaces to amaze me what all can be done with the I phone.  I have done skype 
with it.  talking about the mag mount antenna, I used to live in an 
apartment where there was a metal rail going around the balquny. on the 
second floor where I lived at the time.  I would put my antenna on that 
table.  I now live in a basement apartment but we have a little patio out 
side on our screened in porch.  we have a metal table on the porch where I 
can put my VHF antenna.
