Our second F M news outlet in Chicago needs a whole lot of
polishing!! Was WKQX is now WWWn. Terrible or no format, random
musical noises throughout the traffic reports and just very
unprofessional. Had occasion to speak with a professional
broadcaster this afternoon and his take was that he has heard more
professional sounding high school stations!!
They have a few of the overnight/weekend staff from WBBM and thtir
morning drive team are two people I've never heard of, which doesn't
make them bad!! And I didn't have time to listen to the morning
folks to see if it is better than overnight.
I hope they can put it together or it will be time for yet another
format change!!
