Hi All, 

I'm jsorry I missed the answer to this problem, if there was one, but I,
too, am running Windows 7 and AVG and am having a problem with JAWS updates.


When I tried to do the last update, it trashed my 20 digit JAWS number and
would not allow me to re-install it.  I had to call tech support and it took
us a while to get it installed and working again.  I've been hesitant to try
any more updates. 

Any thoughts or remedies concerning this problem?

A friend is having a problem getting the latest update to Jaws version 12
which is update 12.1169.  She says she has never had a problem with it until
she installed the latest version of AVG.  She says that when she hits P to
check for updates it just sits there which leads me to think that AVG is
blocking her attempts to get the update.  Does anyone know how to either
turn off AVG or make an exception for Jaws so it can get the latest updates?

I also wonder if this could be the reason her links are not clicking in
Outlook Express which Tom also said was a problem for him.  Thanks and 73.
