Pierre, Tell me more about the K7DYY Class D transmitter. I recall
hearing a guy near Atlanta using one on 3885, but I don't know
anything about that rig.

I also had to smile when Kevin mentioned the Knight TR106 and TL175.
The TR106 was my first 6 meter rig. I bought it from a local ham while
I was in college, in the fall of 1975. I worked 40 states with that
rig during the year that I had it before buying a Yaesu FT620.

I never got my hands on a TL175, but did know a few people who ran
them on 11 meters.

I will write about my hodge-podge of equipment a little later.
