Hi all: 

I often wondered why most HF amps sold in the States don't cover 10 and 12 meters unless you install a mod kit and have proof of licensing. 
Yet the amp can freely cover 160 to 15 meters and even 6. Do you need a special license to operate on 12 and 10 with any amount of power?  
Do you have to have some sort of military or commercial license or Mars or Cap?
