Mike, I've not used anything but Kenwoods with a G5RV but I've neverr had
trouble getting it to tune out except on 60m and 30m.  If I added one of those
little cap matching boxes from MFJ I could always tune 60m, 30, and 6m.  Also,
if you tie the leads together on one end (a switch will make it easier than
climbing the tower every time) I've also been able to work 160m with it.  I've
always found with that antenna that if I could hear 'em I could work 'em on my
100w.
