The big problem with the 706 in mobile is if you want to use a QSYer to set
frequency I don't think there's a place to connect it to the control head.

Reason I say the TS-480 is no one has room in the car anymore for a TS-2000.

My IC-706 is going in our next car but I'll h ave to use the separation, I 
don't think I'll have room for the radio as one much less anything bigger.
