Hi Curtis: 

I'm kind of with John on this one. I too have used an FT-767GX, a great rig but I had to have some sighted assistance in operating, or the guy who owned it changed the bands for me. 
You would be better off looking at either the Yaesu FT-450, if you're a Yaesu fan as I am or the Icom 706/7000. All 3 have voice announcement capability but require some sighted help for menu adjustment. For total accessibility however, you might want to look at a Kenwood TS-570DG/SG, which could be had for a good price on the used market. I got one of these as well. 
Doesn't perform as well as my FT-450, different DSP architecture and faster processor in the FT-450 but a decent performer nevertheless.
