    Well, Steve, I think my problem may be solved, but it's due to error on 
my part.

By the mic key, I thought they meant the PTT, but instead, they mean the 5 
key on the keypad which sets the mic gain.

So, maybe you can do it with two hands after all!  (grin)

Tom,

I'd tell you to use your head, but I think using your nose would work
better.

Seriously, though, you could wrap a rubber band around the PTT button on the
hand mic.
