Hi, all.

I tried to find out my firmware version on my home shack TS480, but did not 
get any voice read-out from the VGS1.

Here's what I did:

I used my Heil footswitch to activate the PTT on the mic, while 
simultaneously pressing the power on key and the NR key on the radio control 
head.  The rig kind of turned on, and got silent, as if there may have been 
something on the screen, but I got no voice read-out.

Am I doing something wrong?
