Pat,
I have been experimenting with SDR for a couple of years. I have a SoftRock
and a Flex 1500. I have been able to use the Flex 1500 receiver with Jaws
successfully and it's an amazing receiver. But, most of the features beyond
basic setting of frequency and mode aren't accessible.
I bought the Flex specifically to solve the SDR accessibility issues. So
far, I have a start on some Jaws scripts but haven't gotten very far.
Mostly, I just haven't had enough free time to devote to scripting.

Subject: anyone successfully used sdr software with screen readers
This ia new topic. Has anybody ever used software defined radio software
successfully with screen readers? One of my buddies on the Maryland
Emergency phone net has the flex radio and I was wondering how useable or
not so useable the software was before I tried it for myself. 73- pat kk3f
