Hi, folks.
Well, now that I have figured out how to connect and program the CW
interface to go along with the N3FJP software, and now that I am getting
into the rig interface aspects of Scott's software as well, my mind is
surging forward to another possibility.
Does anyone know of a way that I could use the N3FJP software with my TS480
to create and send voice recordings during an SSB contest, like the NAQP?
I know that on the TS480, you can do short audio recordings for this
purpose, and access them via the 1, 2, and 3 keys on the control head, but
I was thinking of trying to do something via the computer where you could
then hit certain function keys for certain parts of the SSB contest
exchange.
I have heard this done in contests, and wonder how it is done, and how much
expense I would have to go through to make it happen here.
I suspect some other kind of interface would be needed, such as maybe a rig
blaster, but don't know much about that aspect of things at all.
I look forward to any thoughts that anyone has.
This stuff is incredibly fascinating!
