Hi Richard,

With almost any mast you could dig a small hole and pour a little concrete.
The other option is to use a pipe that is either a little smaller so the
mast base will fit over it or a little larger so you can put the mast down
inside it. If your eaves are wood, you can find various sizes of conduit
clamps to clamp it against the eave or there are larger house brackets you
can purchase to help it stand out from the eave if you have gutters in the
way. Either of these, combined with guys if it is a taller mast, will make
for a good installation.

Good luck and very 73.

Subject: chanel master mast

Hi everyone;
I have been looking at the posts concerning this mast and wonder if it
has some sort of base that is cemented in the ground or is it just
mounted to the side of a house or garage? I have briefly considered
some sort of mast because the noise level with this vertical is unreal
but a brick home makes the process a bit more complicated.
