Thanks Steve.  Does it matter which VFO to use for the transmit or the

Gary,

With the 480, you set up the split for each repeater independently.
Basically, you use one VFO for the receive frequency, and the other for
transmit.  After setting up a repeater pair, I store everything in a memory
so I won't have to go back and reinvent the wheel.
