Kevin,

If you have any kind of continuity checker, you can figure out which wire 
goes where with 100% success.  Connect one lead from the checker to some 
part of the case that you know is ground, such as the outer part of one of 
the SO-239s.  Touch the other lead to one of the wires you have connected to 
the power jack, and whichever one gives you the least resistance is the 
ground wire.

It also turns out that the outer part of the plug is ground, so if you clip 
one lead to the outer part of the plug, whatever wire gives you 0 ohms 
resistance is ground.  I've hooked up my TW2 this way without frying 
anything, so I know it works.
