Hi, everyone.

I'm swamped with final exams and grades now, and don't have time to check
this out, but here's some interesting info on a free program for editing
channels for a variety of VHF and UHF radios.

The info was sent to me by Pete DeNeef (AE7PD), who you may remember has
checked into our Sunday afternoon Cross-Country Blind Ops net on occasion.

If anyone has the time to try the program, please let us know how well it
works.

Subject: Editing VHF/UHF Channels

Hi Tom,

Do you use the VHF/UHF bands? If so, you might be interested in Chirp, a
free program for editing channels in 35 different radios. It works with
screen readers.

There's a review of Chirp along with a second article, "Using Chirp With A
Screen Reader," on www.HamRadioAndVision.com.

The new 20 meter dipole is up. Now it's time for the sun to do its part so I
can hear you on the Sunday net.

Regards,
Peter DeNeef, AE7PD
