I don't have dsl but have a d-link router connected to my cable modem and
it's very easy to setup. I have ports forwarded so I can access tivo from
outside the network, had to open a port for bit torrent programs and it was
all very easy. I have comcast so they give the cable modem and we get our
own router, I have no regrets, I like this better than the linksys ones I
used to get. I have it for now on a low shelf on the radio desk but soon
need to rearrange things so will wall mount both in a closet. I haven't even
had to reset this thing since I got it, haven't even touched it, just bought
it in July, set it up and it's been fine. I threw the CD that came with it
right in the trash where it belongs.
