Hi all,

Anyone know what effect the polarization has on 10 meter signals? I'm
thinking of making a 10 meter dipole or j-pole and wondering if I want it to
be horizontal or vertical. Much of my 10 meter operation will be ground
wave; within 20 miles or so. Otherwise not looking for DX, just stateside
stuff.

By the way, can anyone describe a j-pole? I have several descriptions but I
just don't understand them. I must be a little dense.

Thanks, anybody.
