The flies when they approach are sucked in by the giant vacuums that 
Rudolph Guliani had installed around the borders of the outer boroughs. 
Plus, they can't make it across the Hudson from New jersey.

I have never seen a white brick, except ones that were painted white, 
but if you strange city folk have white brick with black specs I think 
the black specs are just fly poop, what Ma called "fly specs." End of
