hey!! ed, thats a great idea. as a matter of fact my first wife was
a ham and met her on 80 meters cw. and my second wife is also a ham
but she was not on the air because she only got her license so if
there was an emergency she could operate the radio gear. after we
met i found out she had a ticket. she still has her license but she
still never gets on. i climb the tower the same way ed thats the
smart way. i have 75 feet of rohn 45g in the backyard with my 6
meter 9 over 9 stack on it, the bottom antenna is at 75 feet and the
top antenna is at 104 feet. have a second 72 foot tower with the
steppir monster on it, this is the senior version the one with 70
foot elements. take care ed and keep up the good work. c u 73 mike w6quv
