Back in the early 80's I worked field day from w3vpr in Davidsonville,
Maryland in Anne Arundel county. We were working 3a and didn't have the
caliber of antennas which allowed us to win it the year before so we were
using the phonetics whiskey 3 very pregnant radio. One of the stations came
back whiskey 3 virgins available. So I immediately cracked up the whole
group by stating I'm single get their phone numbers. Another story concerns
a ham around the corner from me whose wife is n3hqt hot quick and tasty. So
not to be outdone, I developed the phonetics for my wife Tina kk3f just
hotter and hotter. 73- pat kk3f
