How do you ware out a keyboard?  I haven't done that in twenty years of 
computing.  I'd sure like one of those old style boards, but I want it given 
to me I guess.  On the other hand I'd be glad to pay $300 for a great 
paddle, and realistically, wouldn't i use the keyboard more?

It would be more likely that I'd send CW with a keyboard than that I'd run a 
computer with a paddle.
