Thanks. I one played a little bit with a Swan 500. Or was it a 350? Anyway, I thought I remembered that one could get very close by peaking the receiver, but I wasn't sure if this radio was the same or not. I had a National NCX3 once for a little while, and you could tune it up by first peaking the receiver, then resonating the tank circuit by listening to the power supply hum. Good times.
